Dance Class Etiquette
- Pay for Class
Please make payment before class begins.
- Don't Hurt Yourself
Let me know about any injuries or medical concerns before class begins. During class, if anything hurts, stop dancing and tell me right away.
- Be Courteous to Other Classes
Never enter the studio when another class is in progress, and leave promptly after class if others are waiting. Keep your voice low in the lobby, changing rooms, and other office or waiting areas.
- Protect the Floor
Always remove your street shoes before entering the studio. Only bare feet and soft-soled dance shoes are permitted on the classroom floor. You may bring water to class. Don't bring any other food or drink into the studio.
- Don't Chew Gum
If you chew gum or eat during class (including things like cough drops and breath mints) you could choke!
- Turn Off Your Phone
Unless you need to be on call, please turn off cell phones and pagers. If you must take a call during class, please leave the room.
- Be Punctual
You'll get the most out of class if you arrive a few minutes early, so that you are focused, relaxed, and can participate fully in the warm-up. If you are late, please enter class as quietly as possible.

Make Prior Arrangements for Observers, Guests, and Children
I only allow prospective students to observe class, and all observers must make prior arrangements. While I permit quiet babies and children in the classroom on a case-by-case basis, I will ask you to immediately remove any child who disrupts class or disturbs other dancers.
